“ We ate here as a group on Thursday night and it was packed. The pizzas were some of the best I’ve had, they absolutely did not scrimp on the toppings and the combinations were really imaginative. The hot honey on the pepperoni pizza was a great addition and I also loved the goats cheese pizza. We were too full for desserts but the hot cinnamon swirl sounded great. Good beers (including non alcoholic) and cocktail selection. ”

“ The pizza was great. Nice, soft dough, extremely thin in the middle like the authentic Neapolitan pizza. Good filling. N.3 with pepperoni and hot honey is sublime. The restaurant is a bit too small and if you're 1 minute late you will start getting texts from the restaurant through the dojo app saying that they will keep your table only for 5 minutes. I understand that their restaurants are small and they want to maximise their turnover but this is a bit strict and annoying. Plus, there's no phone number you can call: what if you're an older person, your battery is dead or you have no data and you're running late? We found very confusing that the Orto website only displays two restaurants (the Stranmillis and the Bedford Street) but on Google maps only the Stranmillis and the Talbot street can be found. Our taxi driver ended up driving us to the Talbot restaurant and we had to take another taxi to go to the Bedford one, with the dojo messaging pestering us because we were late. This is confusing and something they could improve. ”

“ Great dinner at orto pizza. Some colleagues told me that here I would have found a pizza similar to the Italian ones. They were right, I loved it. Great friendly staff. I’ve ordered a margherita with pepperoni and my friend a margherita. We had a beer and a glass of wine. Everything was perfect. Thank you! ”

“ Really nice meal in here tonight. The pizza was excellent, the starters were delicious and I really love hot honey. The girl who served us was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we could want. Atmosphere there as a great crowd, full of energy and a wee bit of everything in there. My kids loved their meals too although I’m amazed they ate their pizzas with the HUGE starters. Would definitely recommend. ”

“ It started off with the hostess explaining I love your jumper to my girlfriend when we walked in and after seating us and giving us menus as the waitress came to take our drinks order she also asked my girlfriend where she got her jumper from because the hostess couldn’t stop talking about it. So far very friendly and warm over boringly professional and it really set a nice tone! The Arancini was delicious and up there with Milan levels of quality, the only problem was having 3 balls between 2 of us. On to the pizza which was AMAZE. The cheese and tomato pizza had the toppings perfectly spread with it cooked to perfection and even eating the crusts plain was a delight. The salami and prosciutto pizza complimented the cheese and base lovely as well. Both Pizzas were amazing, the staff was a delight, we were too stuffed for dessert but I have zero regrets. ”

The pizzas were excellent, the salads were delicious especially the beetroot and goats cheese and we really loved the honey on the nduja sausage pizza. The girl who served us was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and the place is spotlessly clean including the loos. It was good value for money too. Would definitely recommend and will return. ”
